Description
The SPL Parts Titanium Series Rear Upper Arms (SPL RUA E9X) are engineered to replace the weak, flex-prone factory rear upper arms found on BMW E8X and E9X chassis. OEM non-M arms are constructed from thin, spot-welded sheet metal that can flex or bend under moderate loads—especially when paired with sticky tires, increased torque, or track use—leading to inconsistent handling and unstable rear alignment.
SPL’s solution includes both the rear guide (traction) arms and rear camber (wishbone) arms, built from gun-drilled 2024 aluminum and paired with SPL’s signature 360-degree rotating clamp system. This design allows fast, precise, jam-nut-free on-car adjustment while eliminating bushing deflection entirely. The result is a rear suspension that stays planted and predictable under hard cornering, braking, and acceleration.
